How to become a member
We are more than a shelter, more than just volunteers. Many of us involved with TARPS are Members.
TARPS Membership is open to any person, family, business, professional firm or other entity interested in supporting our mission and activities and agreement to abide by our bylaws. There is no residency restriction for joining, so even if you don’t live in Vermont, you can become a member of TARPS.
You may become a member by applying* and paying annual dues. Memberships are annual. A membership term begins January 1 and continues through December 31 of each year.
TARPS encourages its members to become active, attending meetings and participating at the shelter and/or TARPS’ events. But it is not a requirement. Your annual dues help support us, for which we are grateful. We will keep you informed through this website and personal communications, allowing you to feel a part of the organization, whether you are near or far, or choose to be hands-on active or not.
Benefits
