May 10 Missing Pet and Found Strays in N.H.

10 May

Found 4 Cats in Walpole

There are 4 stray cats that just out of the blue showed up in the Center Street area of  North Walpole N.H. on May 7th.  One is black and white and seems well fed, one is orange and white, also well fed, one is gray and white and is thin and one is a dark brown torti who seems young and thin. They run if I open the back door.  They are going under my deck and are making a lot of noise.

If you are missing or know of someone in your neighborhood who are missing a cat or a few cats with the description above, please e-mail: Aggie1965@comcast.net or call the shelter at 802-875-7777.

MISSING

Callie, a dark calico (not tortoise shell) cat around 2 years old was reported missing from the Chellis Street area of Claremont, N.H. She knows her name “Callie” and may come when called.

If you have spotted Callie, please email: cccrews@comcast.net.

Thank you for your help.

Don’t forget to bake!

10 May

That is, if you were thinking about it. Drop offs can be done today at the shelter. If we aren’t here please leave it by the door on the porch. You can also drop off at Chester Lisai’s Saturday morning.

Don’t forget to stop by…

…and see if anything strikes your fancy tomorrow at Chester Lisai’s on Depot Street (by the station).

Whatever you decide to do, have a great weekend.

SEN_06CMothers’ Day Bake Sale–May 11 at 10 a.m.

We are looking for bakers for this month’s bake sale at Lisai’s Market in Chester. Mornings are still a little chilly here in Vermont. Take the chill off with the warmth of your oven and the smell of baked goods wafting through the air.

Drop offs can be done the afternoon the day before or early morning Saturday at the shelter (1758 Route 103 S across for the “Welcome to Chester” sign) OR at Lisai’s Market in Chester (on Depot St.) during the sale.

HUMN_38CDon’t Bake? Don’t Worry

Come down to Chester and buy Mom, or yourself, a treat. Baked goods = a great and inexpensive way to let Mom know you care.

Come visit even if you can’t buy anything (Darn diet). This is a great time to find out about our organization and shelter. Ask about easy ways to volunteer. Or donate. Or find out when you can visit our facility and meet our cats…

The Best Part

100% of  money raised at the bake sale goes towards the running of the shelter, feeding and medical care for the animals and pretty much any project that will keep a roof over our heads, and our animals clean, warm, fed, and healthy.

* Bakers should not feel limited by this headline. We’d appreciate breads, cakes, crackers, animal biscuits, anything edible you can create. :)

As ever, thank you for your support!
