More (free) Ways to Give
Now you’ve taken your time to read through our site and you are still not sure what you can do.
Here’s some other ways you can help without investing much time or a cent.
Matching Gifts
If you are planning a donation to TARPS, please take a moment to speak with your company regarding donating a Matching Gift.
One of the most powerful ways to give is through a matching gift program. Many employers sponsor matching gift programs and will match, or even double charitable contributions made by their employees. (Some companies may also match donations made by retirees and/or spouses.)
Before you make your donation, check with your company’s human resource or payroll department to see if your employer has a program in place. There will most likely be a form you will need to fill out and send along with your payment.
If you have time, check the internet for other ways to boost your gift.

At animalrescuesite.com thousands of dollars in grants are awarded to animal shelters based on the number of daily votes logged during a defined period of time.
TARPS has received $1,000 from the animalrescue.com site, just this year. And it’s pretty simple to help us out. All you need do is go to this site, and follow these steps below:
- Click the “Give to Give Food and Care” for rescued animals.
- At the right of the site window you will see tabs, click on “Shelter Challenge”.
- You’ll be taken to an area where you can choose your favorite shelter and state. (We hope it is us.)
- You’ll be asked to type a cyptogram. Type what you see into the box, hit return.
That’s it. You can vote once a day! So return daily to help us rack up the most votes.
